Ox Stamps
Day of Issue: February 7, 1997, at the Chancellery of Sedang, Toronto, Canada.

Royalist Sedang issued a set of stamps to commemorate the Year of the Ox (Chinese New Year). The stamps were issued on February 7, 1997, New Year’s Day. The stamps were designed by Canadian artist Kevin Davies. The denominations are 25 centimes (black), 50 centimes (red) and 1 piastre (blue).

The stamps were offset printed in sheets of 35 with two marginal inscriptions per sheet (at the top and bottom of the sheet). All stamps are imperforate. Cacheted first day covers showing the coat of arms of Sedang and a special rectangular "First Day of Issue" cancellation were made.
